I believe that the women and our country need to be prioritized before anything else can. We need our society to move forward before our technology can. I support industrialization but I also support the people who are fighting for their equal rights.

My first major success I had at the age of 17 when I was collecting money for anti-slavery and started the American Anti-Slavery Society in New York. Then I started getting more involved in women's rights and developed the Women's Loyal National League with my good friend Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Other things I did to get women some equal rights were the American Equal Rights Association, National Women's Suffrage Association, the International Council of Women, and I also started to get the ball rolling so the 19th amendment could be passed to get women equal voting rights. With many of my successes I also had many failures I got arrested in my home town for trying to vote and my trial was very public so many people started to have different views on me. Another failure is when I shared my views on marriage which many people did not like so I got even more mixed views which made some things harder to do.
I've used many methods trying to get the women of America equal rights. I even got the 19th amendment passed after a lot of hard work I got congress to see that we as women should get a say in our government. I also started the International Council of women to get some more equal rights for us. My method was being very persistent and getting what I felt had to be done in order to get my views out there.
I believe that all men were created equally as the constitution of the United States says, that's why I fought for slavery to end. Now however is the time for women to get their fair rights too. Women are just as important, we should stop being pushed into the background. We need rights and we need them now.
