I think that industrialization is positive for the growth of america, however I support the workers in their strikes for their rights. In order for America to continue to grow there needs to be industrialization and business, however the business needs to respect their workers and have a positive effect in the growth of America.
I was successful in becoming the president of the national conference of social work, being on the Chicago board of education, and establishing the national federation of settlements. Because of all my hard work and dedication I was awarded the nobel peace prize in 1931.
I have used the most meaningful method, taking charge and doing what I feel needs to be done to improve the American life. I saw what needed to be done and did it. One of my accomplishments was the creation of the Hull House, that eventually expanded into ten buildings helping from education to a public kitchen. I also served terms as the first female president of the National Conference of Social Work, and I also established the National Federation of Settlements. I see what needs to be done, and get into the position to do something about it.
One of my main criticisms of American society is that all people are created equal, men and women alike. Women should have all the same opportunities as men do. We should be able to have the same jobs for the same pay and hold positions of power.
